Our Story

Mane Attraction was founded by Julie Heidebrink in 2023 with a heartfelt mission to serve the community. Growing up in a single-parent household, Julie and her three siblings experienced firsthand the challenges their mother faced. Despite limited resources, she always found ways to anonymously support other struggling single parents.

After retiring from her teaching career, Julie felt compelled to honor her late mother, Essie Usherwood, by continuing this legacy of giving. This inspired the establishment of the Miss Essie Legacy Fund, which sponsors children of single family households to help with school lunches, gifts for the holidays, and other items that may be needed with proceeds from the Mane Attraction event trailer.
